10 of the Most Beautiful Cars in the World

The creation of a list of the most beautiful cars of all time is surely a matter that is highly influenced by personal taste, but here, in no particular order, are some of our top contenders. They offer beauty not just in their designs, but in their performances and are some of the most memorable cars of all time.

Jaguar E Type-Considered by many to be the most beautiful production sports car, the Jaguar E Type was designed by aerodynamics engineer Malcolm Sayer.
1930 Mercedes-Benz Count Trossi SSK-Named the Black Prince and made by Count Carlo Felice Trossi and English body worker Willie White. Trossi bought the chassis of the SSK in 1930 and White built the car to match Trossi's vision.
Bugatti Veyron 16.4-Described as one of the most beautiful cars ever built and an iconic member of the Bugatti line of cars, known to be beautiful and stylish machines in general.
1938 Talbot-Lago T150 C SS Teardrop Coupe-Described by the press as goute d'eau, a drop of water, in reference to the fact that the car's speed had advanced to the point where aerodynamic drag and stability began to influence performance as much as weight and power did.
Pagani Zonda-Designed by Horacio Pagani to reflect the height of aerodynamic and ergonomic aesthetics in an exceptional car.
1967 Shelby Mustang Eleanor GT500-Named Eleanor after its role in the movie Gone in 60 Seconds and made amazingly popular by the same movie. It featured extensive bodily upgrades for the film.
Ferrari Dino-Designed by Pininfarina's chief designer Leonardo Fioravanti, this car was named for Enzo Ferrari's son Dino. Dino suggested the development of a V6 racing engine for formula one and died before the car was finished.
1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Coupe-this car's look is characterized by its gull wing doors and is distinctive, to say the least. The car itself is not considered to have been either comfortable or practical, but we must make sacrifices for beauty.
Rolls-Royce Phantom-this car was designed for power and elegance. It has one of the largest frames of its kind ever built for automotive use.
Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato-Only nineteen of these cars were ever produced and they remain in the hands of Aston Martin enthusiasts. The car was based on the DB4 GT and improved by the Zagato factory and Ercole Spada. One of the most memorable, most desirable Aston Martins ever designed.
